Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RoleQuill (“the service”), operated by Dominic Pinoteau. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

RoleQuill runs automated job searches across public job feeds, filters and scores results against your resume, and produces reports. Job listings come from third-party sources; we surface and rank them but do not control them.

No guarantee of results or employment

We do not guarantee that any search will return matches, that listings are current, accurate, or legitimate, or that using RoleQuill will lead to interviews or a job. Scores and “ghost/scam/stale” filters are best-effort signals, not verified facts. Always verify a posting and employer before applying or sharing personal information.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and use the service only for lawful, personal job-seeking purposes. Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to violate any third party’s terms.

Credits & payments

Searches consume credits. New accounts receive free credits, and a free credit refills weekly up to a cap. Purchased credits do not expire. A search is automatically refunded a credit if it returns no results, times out, or is interrupted by a restart. Purchases are processed by Stripe. Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable; if something goes wrong, contact us.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law. Purchased credits are forfeited on deletion.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on search results. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; material changes update the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of Wisconsin, USA.
